We are deeply concerned for our participating companies and venues that have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. Many lost power, were not able to run shows and so lost revenue and have flooded spaces. The LIT Fund is working hard to survey our participants and find what the greatest needs are. The LIT Fund intends to use some Emergency Funding to assist our participants at this time in whatever way can support the largest number of people. The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, The Community DISH, and the League of Independent Theater are coordinating a volunteer effort.
